We specialise in a large variety of good quality Silk and Artificial Flowers. Real silk flowers have been around for a long time and although these artificial flowers are called 'silk' very few these days are made of pure silk. Most of them have some Polyester in them which means you can wash them.
Why buy silk flowers? Well they last a lot longer and you don't have to water them. They don't appear to attract dust but you can wash most of them in a bowl of warm water and 'fairy liquid'. Slosh them gently around, shake them to get the surplus water off and then put them to dry. No need to rinse.
You can 'bend' artificial flowers, you can't bend real flowers they have stay just where they fall. You can have different arrangements for the different seasons. Wrap them up carefully and put them away until next year. When you bring them out again give them a little steam over the kettle and they will be as good as new. In fact it is often a good idea to give them a steam if any petals have got twisted.
Some of the flowers such as Calla lilies etc., are made from latex, but you wouldn't know until you touch them.
